Lera Khubunaia

Lera is an attorney originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, who moved to the United States at 17. She studied journalism with a minor in French at the University of Cincinnati before going on to earn her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2019.

While in school, Lera worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she learned the importance of being attentive and compassionate, qualities that continue to guide her as an attorney. After law school, she served as a staff attorney for Honorable Judge Kathleen Rodenberg at Clermont County Domestic Relations Court, helping families through difficult legal situations. This experience shaped her understanding of how to support clients during stressful times.

Lera spent three years working for a long-standing immigration law firm in Cincinnati, gaining invaluable experience working on a wide variety of cases. She has developed an understanding of the challenges immigrants face and takes pride in helping her clients navigate the legal system with confidence. Lera joined Larcade Law in July 2024.

Lera is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, with a practice that primarily focuses on immigration and criminal defense. She speaks English, Georgian, Russian, and some French, which allows her to connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds. In addition to her legal work, Lera has served as a courtroom interpreter for Georgian-speaking clients, if and when her help is needed.

Lera’s approach to her work is focused on making sure her clients feel supported and understood. She knows that dealing with legal issues can be overwhelming, and she’s committed to providing clear and compassionate guidance every step of the way.

Outside of work, Lera enjoys simple things like exploring new places around the city, spending time with her family, friends, and her adorable Yorkie pup, Luna. She also finds relaxation in going to the gym at the end of the day.
