Christine Ficker

Christine was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of the Politics, Society, and Law Scholars Program, reflecting her early passion for law and public policy.

Following her undergraduate studies, Christine completed the Paralegal Certificate Program at the University of Cincinnati, where she gained valuable experience through a practicum with the Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. This experience solidified her interest in criminal law and legal advocacy.

Christine then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law.  She was recognized with the Pro Bono Award for her commitment to public service and her focus on providing legal services to underserved communities. She also served on the Editorial Board of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Law, where she refined her legal writing and research skills.

After law school, Christine spent three years working at Lloyd & McDaniel, PLC in Louisville, Kentucky, where she gained substantial experience in civil litigation. Since 2021, she has focused her practice on immigration law and criminal defense, providing dedicated advocacy in these areas. Licensed to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida, her immigration expertise includes, but is not limited to, removal defense, family-based immigration, special immigration juvenile matters, and naturalization.

Christine’s approach to legal representation is centered on a deep commitment to her clients. She emphasizes the importance of truly listening to clients, taking the time to understand their unique situations, and crafting strategies that advocate for their best interests. She believes that successful legal outcomes begin with empathy and end with fierce advocacy, ensuring that each client feels heard, supported, and confident in the pursuit of their goals.

In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, and taking advantage of all that her hometown of Cincinnati has to offer.
